Protecting your personal data is important to me. This policy explains which personal data is processed when you visit this website, contact the practice, or book an appointment online.

2. Website delivery and server logs

This website is provided through WEB.DE, a service of 1&1 Mail & Media GmbH, Brauerstraße 48, 76135 Karlsruhe, Germany. According to WEB.DE, IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Straße 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany, is used as a service provider for the technical web space.

When you access the website, the hosting provider processes technically necessary connection data. This may include your IP address, date and time of access, requested file, amount of data transferred, referrer URL, browser, and operating system. Processing is required to deliver the website and ensure its stability and security. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. My legitimate interest is the secure and reliable operation of this website. Log data is deleted when it is no longer required for these purposes, unless legal obligations or the investigation of a security incident require longer storage.

3. Contact by email or phone

If you contact me by email or phone, I process your contact details and the content of your message to respond to your request and, where applicable, prepare an appointment or treatment. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for pre-contractual or contractual matters and otherwise Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. My legitimate interest is the appropriate handling of your request.

If your message contains health information, it is processed only to the extent necessary for health advice or treatment. The legal basis is Article 9(2)(h) GDPR in conjunction with Section 22(1) no. 1(b) of the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG). Please send only information that is necessary for your request by unencrypted email.

The data is deleted when your request has been fully addressed, unless treatment documentation, statutory retention obligations, or legal claims require further retention.

4. Online booking through Belbo

The appointment button takes you to an external booking calendar provided by Belbo Business Software GmbH, Pappelallee 78/79, 10437 Berlin, Germany. A connection to Belbo is established and you leave this website only after clicking the link.

During booking, the information you enter is processed, such as your name, contact details, preferred appointment, and any information you voluntarily provide. The data is used to manage and confirm the appointment and to contact you. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. If you voluntarily provide health information that is required for treatment, Article 9(2)(h) GDPR in conjunction with Section 22(1) no. 1(b) BDSG also applies. Belbo provides the booking software and processes data as part of this service. Further details are available in the booking calendar’s privacy notice.

5. External links to Google, Jameda, and Facebook

This website links to review profiles on Google and Jameda and to the practice profile on Facebook. Posts, feeds, like buttons, and other platform content are not embedded in this website. No connection to these providers is therefore made unless you click a link. Once you click, the respective provider receives technically necessary connection data, particularly your IP address, and processes data under its own privacy policy.

The providers are Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland; Jameda GmbH, Brienner Straße 45 a–d, 80333 Munich, Germany; and, for Facebook, Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, Merrion Road, Dublin 4, D04 X2K5, Ireland. Google and Meta may also process data outside the European Economic Area.

6. Published reviews

This website reproduces selected reviews that clients publicly posted on Google, Jameda, or Facebook. The review text, source and, where stated, the publicly used name or alias are processed. This allows prospective clients to gain an authentic impression of experiences with the practice. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR and my legitimate interest in presenting these experiences. A person concerned may object at any time for reasons arising from their particular situation; a brief message to the email address above is sufficient.

7. Locally hosted fonts and images

Fonts and images are loaded directly from this website’s web space. Visiting the page therefore does not establish a connection to Google Fonts, an image service, or a social network.

8. Cookies, analytics, and advertising

This website currently does not use analytics, marketing, or social media tracking services. It does not store or access information on your device for analytics or advertising purposes. The current website therefore does not require a consent banner. If additional services are added later, this policy will be updated and your prior consent will be obtained where required by law.

9. Recipients and international data transfers

Personal data is disclosed only to recipients who need it for the purposes described above, particularly service providers involved in hosting and appointment booking. The functions integrated into this website currently do not transfer personal data to a country outside the European Union or European Economic Area. If you click an external link, the respective provider is responsible for further processing; Google and Meta may also process data outside the European Economic Area.

10. Your rights

Subject to the applicable legal requirements, you have the right to access, correct, delete, and restrict the processing of your data, as well as the right to data portability. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests and withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future.

To exercise your rights, contact the address listed above. You may also file a complaint with a data protection authority. The competent authority in Baden-Württemberg is:

11. Automated decision-making

No decision is made solely by automated means, including profiling.

12. Updates to this policy

This privacy policy will be updated if the website, the services used, or the legal requirements change.
